Shanghai shentong pipeline Co.,Ltd. is a Shanghai-Hongkong joint venture incorporated with the joint investment from Shanghai Cast lron Pipe plant,a former state-owned enterprise with a history of over seventy years, as the major initiator, and Tehtung Trade Co.,Ltd.(HK),Shanghai Waterworks Shibei Co.,Ltd.,Shanghai Gas Equipment Co.,Ltd.,Shanghai Shentong Pipeline Corporation,Shanghai Hengtai Economy Development Corporation in September 2000. The company is specizlized in manufacturing and sales of centrifugally cast ductile iron pipes and fittings for water and gas delivery.The predecessor of the company is Shanghai Cast lron Pipe Plant,which wal established in 1926,named ”Hsiang Feng lron Pipe Mfg.co.” then.

    At present our company owns 4 water-cooled metal mould centrifugal pipe casting machines for the specifications from DN100 to DN800,2 continuous channel annealing furnaces,2 finshing lines covering pipe cleaning. hydraulic testing, zinc spraying.rounding,cement mortar lining,and bitumen coating.It now has a capacity of supplying 80,000 to 100,000 tons of centrifugally cast ductile iron pipes annually.

    At present the ductile iron pipes producde by our company are mainly divided into two categories-water pipes and gas pipes.The pipes for water supply only are Type T, and the pipes for both water and gas supply are type N1 and type . Two fixed lengths are acailable-5.5m and 6 m.

    Our main products are size DN100-800 mm Type T joint centrifugally cast ductile iron pipes manufacturde in accordance with ISO2531,EN545 and GB13295,and size “4-16” type tjoint centrifugally cast ductile iron pipes manufacrured in accordance with awwa/ANSIC 151;size DN 100-700 mm type s and type n1 mechanical joint centrfugally cast ductile iron pipes manufacttured in accordance with GB13295.

    The company had its quality assurance system ISO9002 certified in 1999. its products were awarded”state new key product”certificate issued jointly by the ministry of science and technology,the ministry of foreign economy and trade and threee other minstries and bureaus,and”recommended produce”certificate issued by the china association of water supply in cities and towns,as well as the title of “new product of shanghai municipality”
